About the Dip

The Polar Duck Dip is Camp Occohannock Annual Fundraiser.  We are non-profit and this event helps us to raise money to improve facilities and to provide scholarships for summer camp.  What raise money to minister to families through summer camp and retreat groups.

The Polar Duck Dip is ready for another year of support so we can continue the growth of our community, our camp programs, campers, repairs, and much more. Start sharing the event early asking family, friends, churches, and even businesses to sponsor you for your dip in the Occohannock Creek.

The Dip will be followed by a Lunch for all that show up, but we really want you to register to help us estimate on food even if you simply attend the event.. A loving donation for food is recommended for supporters and dippers eat free.  Dippers often dress up in costumes which adds to the fun!

Young dippers under 18 need to have a parent attend.

Zeb B. Barfield, Inc. is a full-service auction company with 3 full time auctioneers, bringing a combined total of over 30 years to serve you. The corporation was formed in 1999, and has continued to grow each year.
The auction will open a week before our annual Duck Dip.  Stay tuned for the auction to become live on January 13th at 5:00am.  The auction will run till the day of our Duck Dip Event on Jan 20th.  Items will begin to close at 1:30pm January 18th
